How can we use AI Tech for solving real-world problems?

  • LECTURER: Youngsun Kwon
  • AFFILIATION: KAIST

Outline

The seminar will be interactive talks and discussions between Prof. Kwon and the students and is composed of two interrelated subjects. The first subject is about understanding current AI technologies. Without objectively and scientifically knowing the concept and capability of AI, we are often likely to overstate AI’s ability and waste time and resources on AI projects. However, at the same time, being conservative in investing funds in AI projects can cause businesses to fall behind in the market competition. Therefore his talk starts with what you think AI is, what jobs we can do now with AI techs, and what we need most imminently to use AI technologies for businesses and public organisations. The second subject is planning and implementing AI projects in an organisation. He will speak about standard AI project planning/implementation processes and complicated issues you are often likely to encounter in AI projects.
