03-08-2026Attempts at fraud relating to outstanding enrolment fees have been detected. All these emails are FAKE and do not come from the University. Their aim is to collect money via transfers to ILLEGAL bank accounts. Under no circumstances does the UPM ask students to make such transfers, as all enrolment fees are managed via the payment system. The emails claim there is a problem with enrolment and provide a bank account number to which a transfer should be made. These emails are easily identified because the sender’s address does not end in @upm.es.
