Application
Students may apply online for admission to the PhD in Software, Systems and Computing through the UPM online application page by the established deadlines.

Key Dates for the 2025/26 Academic Year
- Regular application period: 20 January to 30 May 2025
- Publication of lists of admitted students: 27 June 2025 (provisional), 18 July 2025 (final)
- Regular application (2nd period): 28 June to 26 July 2025 and 4 September to 30 September 2025 (for students from the European Union or with a visa)
- Extraordinary application period: 1 October to 12 December 2025 (if positions available, to start in March 2026)
- Publication of lists of students admitted in the second regular period and in the extraordinary period: students will be notified by email
- Regular enrolment period: 19 to 31 July and 4 September to 10 October 2025
- Enrolment period (second term): March 2025
- Course commencement: 1 October 2025
- Bridge courses start: 8 September 2025
- Course end: 30 September 2026
