Outline

In this module we will analise the main features of academic and profesional oral presentations in scientific and technical settings. Specifically, we will deal with:

  1. audience and purpose of an oral presentation
  2. main parts in a presentation (motivation, body, conclusions)
  3. other features: visuals, body language, voice power and Q&A

Assessment Method

Students will be asked to participate in class by improvising some parts or their presentations, and to record a complete presentation of about 5 to 10 minutes as final assignment.
